Hannah Nemecek has been named Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s director of public policy communications. Oklahoma Farm Bureau members approve water policy changes
Oklahoma Farm Bureau members today approved changes to the organization’s water policy at its 74th Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City. “Water is the most important asset to the state of Oklahoma,” said Tom Buchanan, OKFB president. The delegate body, made up of Farm Bureau members from all 77 Oklahoma counties, approved suggestions with moderate changes from OKFB’s 21-member water committee, which was created at OKFB’s 2014 annual meeting at the request of the organization’s delegates. State resolutions committee prepares policies for 2016
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau state resolutions committee met Oct. 20-21 in Oklahoma City to review, condense and organize resolutions for its 2016 policy book. The meeting served as one of the final steps in the organization’s grassroots policy development process. Oklahoma Farm Bureau volunteers to host Ten Commandments monument
Oklahoma Farm Bureau and Affiliated Companies today offered to host Oklahoma’s Ten Commandments monument at its home office near the state Capitol at 2501 N. Stiles Ave. in Oklahoma City. The nonpartisan organization extended the offer to Gov. Mary Fallin, Attorney General Scott Pruitt and state Rep.
